A right turn from the road linking Colle di Val d’Elsa and Monteriggioni will bring you on to a beautiful tree-lined avenue at the end of which is an estate of around one hundred hectares (completely private) surrounded by pine gardens, farmland, olive groves and extensive vineyards. This is where Chianti wine carrying the D.O.C.G stamp of approval is produced.
The most popular local towns are all within easy reach of the Villa; Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and Florence are just a few kilometres away. The luxury villa was built in the late 1700s in a simple and elegant style and is still in an excellent state of conservation.
The view from the villa and the gardens is simply breathtaking: a vast panorama stretches out before your eyes with the town of Colle Val d’Elsa and the towers of San Gimignano visible in the distance.
During the summer a gentle breeze drifts off the sea and even inside the villa the temperature remains pleasant thanks to the thickness of the walls (1.10m) which helps to keep it cooler inside than outside.
